Unicorn's
simbolism

Men like
Genghis Khan or Aristotle speak about it.
In the Greek
classic culture, it is said that Zeus was breastfeeded by a kind of a "
monokeros ".
Later on,
this frontal horn would be broken by the Zeus himself,
leting go
an impressive quantity of food: " the horn of the abundance!"
We find references
about the unicorn in the Mahabharata,
one of the
treasures of the Indian classic literature that goes back to the second
millennium B.C.
On the other
hand, the Chinese emperor Ugh Hsi relates, around 2.800 B.C., its encounter
with a K'i-lin" .
And also
is said that AlexanderThe Great's horse was in fact an unicorn type...
Unicorn symbolizes
purity, rightness, justice, wisdom, love, hope...
and
is considered a solar ray as well as the most majestic and noble animal.
To its only
horn, whiter than snow and more vibrant than the rest of the body,
are
attributed supernatural forces and medicinal powers, and it is emblem of
its unbeatable vigor.
According
to C.G. Jung, the unicorn, which in occasions can transmute into white
dove,
represents
the virile, pure and penetrating force of the Spiritus Mercurialis.
"Now that
we have known each other, if you believe in me I will believe in
you. Is it a deal?" Lewis Carroll
