Unicorn's simbolism
 
 


 
 
 
According to a western tradition, the Universe originated in an egg from which,
when it ecclosinated, it expanded the order everywhere.
Four animals were testimonies: a dragon, a turtle, a phoenix and an unicorn.
The Unicorn is a mythological animal that has his roots in inmemorable times ...
 

Men like Genghis Khan or  Aristotle speak about it.
In the Greek classic culture, it is said that Zeus was breastfeeded by a kind of a " monokeros ".
Later on, this frontal horn would be broken by the Zeus himself,
leting go an impressive quantity of food: " the horn of the abundance!"
 

We find references about the unicorn in the Mahabharata,
one of the treasures of the Indian classic literature that goes back to the second millennium  B.C.
On the other hand, the Chinese emperor Ugh Hsi relates, around 2.800 B.C., its encounter with a K'i-lin" .
And also is said that AlexanderThe Great's horse was in fact an unicorn type...
 

Unicorn symbolizes purity, rightness, justice, wisdom, love, hope...
and  is considered a solar ray as well as the most majestic and noble animal.
To its only horn, whiter than snow and more vibrant than the rest of the body,
 are attributed supernatural forces and medicinal powers, and it is emblem of  its unbeatable vigor.
According to C.G. Jung, the unicorn, which in occasions can transmute into white dove,
 represents the virile, pure and penetrating force of the Spiritus Mercurialis.
